Nepal Needs Us Now

On 26 August 2026, devastating flash floods triggered by intense monsoon rains swept through the Bhote Koshi River region of Nepal, causing widespread destruction across districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and Gorkha. Homes, roads, bridges and essential infrastructure were washed away, leaving many communities cut off from help. Hundreds of lives have been lost, many people remain missing, and thousands of families have lost their homes, livelihoods and access to basic necessities.

In our traditions, Sewa (selfless service) is one of the highest forms of dharma. At this critical time, we have an opportunity to stand with our brothers and sisters in Nepal and provide practical support to those affected by this humanitarian crisis.
